Our Story

Why We Do It

Since the age of 5, I have loved 2 things; baking and my friend Katie. Today, Katie and I remain close friends. We exchange the phrase "peace and love" and throw up the peace sign and a Japanese heart every time we see each other.

Katie participates in the SPARC Live Art Program. SPARC is a safe place for children with or without disabilities to come together and express themselves. To learn more about The SPARC Live Art Program, visit https://www.sparcrichmond.org/liveart/. 

As I was looking for inspiration for a business name, I reflected on the ability Katie has to turn my day around; she never fails to put a smile on my face.

I realized I wanted to create that same positive experience with my cookies.

The name, "Peace of Love Cookie Co." fit just right. It is also fitting that 10% of the profits collected by Peace of Love Cookie Co. will be donated to SPARC.
